Stop smoking & vaping

Start with the next craving, not next Monday.

ClearMind Quit builds a quit plan around your own triggers, then gives you something to do in the ninety seconds when a craving has already started.

Free to start. No card, and no account needed to build your plan.

Quit phase · day 6 of 28

Today — Day 6

I’m having a craving

About 90 seconds. Works offline.

Today’s action · 2–5 minutes

Day 6 — The first social test

Plan one social situation this weekend in advance: where you will stand, what will be in your hand, and who you will tell.

Daily check-in

Still smoke-free today?

Yes — stayed on planI slipped
Today — everything you need on one screen

The part that matters most

Craving Rescue — try it right now

Most quit apps are built for the calm evening when you are planning. This one is built for the ninety seconds when a craving has already started and the decision is live.

  • Rate it before and afterYou watch the urge move rather than being told it will.
  • Name what set it offFrom a fixed list, so your own pattern becomes comparable.
  • A paced 60–90 second responseDelay, slower breathing, changing location, a brief physical action.
  • Works offline, with no accountIt has to work on the underground, not just on wifi.

Demonstration

A shortened version of the real thing

Four steps, about ninety seconds. Nothing is saved and no account is needed.

This is a demonstration, not emergency or medical support. Nothing here is saved. In an emergency contact your local emergency services; if you are struggling to cope, Samaritans are free on 116 123.

How your plan gets built

Two minutes of questions, and you have something specific to your week rather than general advice about quitting.

  1. 1

    Eight questions

What you are stopping, where you are now, how much, what sets it off, and what kind of support suits you. Skip anything you would rather not answer.

  2. 2

    Your first 24-hour plan

Before any account. Your likely high-risk moments, three if–then plans, one thing to change around you, one person to tell.

  3. 3

    Use it in the moment

Craving Rescue is one tap from the top of the screen, and works offline. Rate the urge, name the trigger, run the response, rate it again.

  4. 4

    Your pattern appears

After a few rescues you can see which triggers come up most, what time of day is hardest, and where your own ratings moved.

Slip recovery

One difficult day does not erase nineteen good ones.

Apps that reset your counter to zero teach people to hide slips, and hidden slips turn into returns. So ClearMind Quit does the opposite: the day is logged honestly, and everything else you have built stays exactly where it is.

Current streak

Days since your last slip.

Total days on plan

Out of days tracked. This one never goes backwards.

What was happening

The trigger behind the slip, so the plan gets sharper.

One step for the next hour

Recovery, rather than a lecture.

You will not find the words failed, clean, dirty or back to zero anywhere in this product. You logged a slip, you learned what triggered it, and you are continuing the plan.

9:41

Daily check-in

Logged. Nothing is erased.

You have been smoke-free on 19 of 21 days tracked. That still stands. What matters is the next few hours.

After a slip — nothing is erased

Two different problems, two different programmes

Stopping smoking and stopping vaping are not the same job. The triggers differ, the routines differ, and the evidence differs — so we do not reuse smoking content, or smoking statistics, for vaping.

Quitting smoking

Cigarettes, roll-ups or cigars.

  • • Built around the moments that actually catch you — the coffee, the break, the drink
  • • Withdrawal described as a pattern, not a promised timetable
  • • Direct routes to free national stop-smoking services and pharmacists

Quitting vaping

E-cigarettes, vape pens or pods.

  • • Designed for the all-day automatic reach, not a fixed number a day
  • • No borrowed smoking statistics, and no invented lung-recovery timeline
  • • Honest about what is and is not yet known about long-term effects

Using both? There is a combined pathway for that too.

Founding users programme

Help shape ClearMind Quit as a founding user

Founding users get the current price, direct influence over what gets built next, and a reply from a person when they email. In exchange we ask for something more useful than a rating: what actually helped, and what nearly made you stop using it.

What you get

  • • The founding price of €19.99, once
  • • The complete programme, including the 90-day growth phase
  • • Direct influence over what gets built next
  • • A reply from a person, usually the same day

What we ask

  • • A few short questions at day 7 and day 28, only if you want to answer
  • • Tell us what was useful, and what was confusing
  • • Tell us what nearly made you stop — that is the valuable one
  • • Nothing is published as a quote without your explicit, recorded consent

Being straight with you about the stage

ClearMind Quit is new. We have no published quit rates, no independently validated outcomes, no large-scale testimonials and no clinical endorsement. Plenty of apps in this category show all four anyway. We would rather you knew where we actually are — and the methods behind the programme are sourced and reviewable.

What we will and will not tell you

What we do

  • • Source every factual claim, with the organisation, a link and a review date
  • • Say plainly when something is not established, especially for vaping
  • • Describe the AI accurately: a support coach, not a clinician
  • • Point you at free national services that can do more than an app

What we do not do

  • • Diagnose anything, or say whether a symptom is serious
  • • Recommend a product, a strength or a dose
  • • Quote success statistics we cannot attribute to this product
  • • Claim endorsement by any health body, because we have none

Our methods draw on published guidance, but the product itself has not been evaluated — no published quit rates, no independent validation. What that means.

The AI is a support coach, not a clinician. It will not diagnose or set doses, and its answers can be imperfect.

What you write stays yours

Guest mode is genuinely local

Build your plan, check in and use Craving Rescue without an account. It stays in your browser.

Analytics never see your words

Journal entries, chat messages and craving notes are never sent to product analytics — only events like "a rescue was completed", with a trigger category from a fixed list.

You can take it or delete it

Export your progress, delete your local data, delete saved progress, or delete your account. You can also switch AI off and keep the programme.

What you write is never sent to analytics. You can use the app without an account, and delete or export everything. Privacy policy.

For employers

ClearMind 28-Day Nicotine Reset

A workplace programme for people who smoke, vape or use both — where you get aggregated reporting and never learn who took part in what.

Founding workplace pilot from €1,500 plus VAT, for up to 50 participants. Figures computed over fewer than five people are suppressed entirely, including by site, shift and department.

See the workplace pilot
  • The employer never receives:
  • • Individual names, or who enrolled
  • • Any individual’s quit status
  • • Chat content or journal entries
  • • Trigger details or medication information
  • • Individual craving logs or usage patterns

Questions people actually ask

Is ClearMind Quit free?
Yes, there is a free tier and you never need a card to use it. You can build your personalised quit plan, do the daily check-in, use Craving Rescue and reach the official support directory without paying. The full 28-day programme, personal trigger insights, the full chat coach and the 90-day growth phase are part of 28-Day Plus, a one-time payment.
Do I have to create an account?
No. You can complete onboarding and see your first 24-hour plan in guest mode, with everything stored on your device. Creating an account saves your plan so it survives clearing your browser and follows you to another device.
Does it work for vaping as well as smoking?
Yes. You choose smoking, vaping, or both at the start, and the programme, language and craving responses change accordingly. We do not reuse smoking statistics for vaping — where the evidence differs, we say so.
Is this medical treatment?
No. ClearMind Quit provides information and behavioural support. It does not diagnose anything and does not provide individual medical treatment. Decisions about nicotine replacement or stop-smoking medication should be made with a pharmacist, GP, stop-smoking adviser or other suitably qualified professional. Many people do best combining an app like this with professional support and approved cessation medication.
What happens if I slip?
You log it, and nothing is erased. We show your current streak alongside your total days on plan out of days tracked, so one difficult day never wipes out weeks of work. After a slip you go straight into a short recovery flow rather than a lecture.
How is the AI used, and is it safe?
The AI is a behaviour-change support coach. It is not a doctor, pharmacist, counsellor or certified stop-smoking adviser, and it is instructed never to diagnose symptoms or set medication doses. When something clinical comes up — pregnancy, chest pain, severe withdrawal, significant distress — it points you to appropriate professional support. AI responses can still be imperfect, so treat them as support rather than instruction.
What do you do with what I write?
Journal entries, chat messages and craving notes are never sent to product analytics. Optional analytics record only high-level events such as "a craving rescue was completed" with a trigger category from a fixed list. You can turn optional analytics off, disable AI features and still use the programme, export your data, and delete your account or local data at any time.
Is there a workplace version?
Yes — the ClearMind 28-Day Nicotine Reset is a workplace programme for employers. Employers never see individual names, quit status, chat content, journal entries or craving logs. They receive aggregated reporting only, with small groups suppressed so individuals cannot be identified.

Two minutes now, and you have a plan for tomorrow morning.

No card. No account needed to start. Nothing to cancel.

Information and behavioural support — not medical treatment, and not emergency support. How we handle evidence.
